After more than 20 years of research by FRANLI, the new basket mill is equipped with a basket at the lower part of the main shaft, which contains 1.5mm glass beads, and a stirring knife at the bottom. The main shaft and the basket can be freely raised and lowered by the hydraulic piston of the machine column. The basket mill and the disperser are equipped with a special mixing barrel. The barrel and the bottom of the mixing barrel are jacketed with cooling water. The cold water enters from the lower part and flows out from the upper part. The bottom of the barrel is equipped with a discharge valve.
Installation and maintenance of basket mill
When installing the basket mill, the machine base needs to be installed on a flat and solid foundation, and the installation location should take into account the electrical wiring, operation, maintenance and maintenance, ventilation, and other conditions.
The stirring shaft and column need to be filled with lubricating oil regularly. Use an oil gun to add oil to the center part of an oil filling hole at the top of the column, usually once per shift. The transmission V-belt is checked irregularly. Motors and electrical cabinets should be regularly cleaned of dust.
When the basket mill is dispersing, we need to place the milled mill base in the mixing bucket, and then dip the basket into the mill base. Turn on the motor, make the main shaft start to run from slow to fast, and make the paint slurry flow as shown in the figure under the constant action of the stirring blade. Enter through the top of the basket, flow out from the bottom and sides, and circulate continuously. The slurry is subjected to the action of the grinding medium in high-speed turbulent motion for each cycle, to obtain strong grinding and dispersion. The heat generated during the dispersion process is carried away by the jacketed cold water.
Determined by the uniqueness of the structure and working principle of the basket mill, the equipment has the following characteristics:
a. Suitable for small batch and multi-variety product operations;
b. Compared with common grinding and dispersing equipment, a basket mill is more suitable for dispersing products that require high tinting strength and uniform particle size;
c. The pre-mixing, grinding and dispersing, and homogenizing adjustment of the mill base can be carried out in the same mixing tank, so the conveying devices such as pipes and pumps are saved, which is easy to clean, so the labor productivity can be greatly improved;
d. Since the grinding and dispersing operation can be completed at one time in the mixing tank, there is no loss in the conveying process, so the loss is small, and the yield of each batch of products can be as high as about 98%;
e. When cleaning, as long as the basket is immersed in the container containing the cleaning solvent and rotated for a while, the cleaning of the equipment is very convenient;
